A lot of time is invested into the process of making your cup of coffee. Afterall, it's our passion. From sourcing to dialling in, from machinery to education and training, each step is carefully thought through and monitored to ensure every drop is as delicious as possible time and time again.
Our Roasters travel to origin monthly, (to certain producers at least 4 times a year); continually fostering and nurturing the relationships we have established. By sharing information and collaborating together, value is added to the whole process and ultimately the producer is paid more for a better quality product. We only work with coffee importers who share our values and methodology and who have extensive relationships with the coffee producers of the coffee we buy. We buy whilst recognising the complexities of sourcing quality green coffee with true mindfulness to social and environmental impact.
Our goal is to showcase the care, craft and hard work of the coffee’s producer; whether this is an individual farmer, a washing station or a cooperative; we are the intrinsic link in the sensory chain. The Roastery uses Probat roasters and cropster roasting technology to carefully monitor the roast curve, development time and total roast time. By controlling these factors and understanding the raw material they can achieve varied degrees of flavour and profiles to bring out the best characteristics of every coffee they roast. By the end of a roasting week every batch is quality tested before arriving at our cafe to be meticulously dialled in to ensure the fullest and best falvours can be extracted.
Each and every piece of equipment, every supplier relationship, and all our ingredients have been sourced at our cafe with the sole purpose of delivering the best coffee experience possible. From our top of the line coffee machines, grinders, and water filters, no expense has been spared, no step trivialised, and no quality has been sacrificed. This is particularly true for our largest and most important asset, our baristas. With our ongoing commitment to trainging, education, and work ethos, we believe this is the critical last step that ensures that those green beans that started their journey in one of the most beautiful places around the world can be fully appreciated by our customers.

Our signature blend predominantly focusses on seasonal harvests from South America and Asia. All of the coffees that feature in our Daily Blend, are the result of countless trips to origin, working directly with producers to build secure, reliable, and transparent supply chains.
